Location

La Douze is a five minute walk from the house and has two bars/restaurants one serving the most delicious pizza, also available for delivery. Boulangerie (bread and cakes) and Epicerie, selling local produce and fresh vegetables etc as well as a small selection of organic food. Also a Sunday morning market is held in the village square selling fresh produce, wine, olives etc. 

Le Malusson is a lovely place for local walks. There is also a kids football pitch and basket ball court  less than 3 minutes walk from Les Anges.

Perigord Dordogne is a unique area of France offering huge choice and possibilities. Check out this website for more info on Châteaux, markets, restaurants, caves, grottoes, prehistoric sites, amusement parks, museums, eco museum and more. Les Anges is located near to numerous prestigious Chateau's for example Hautfort (more). Lots of outstanding caves with prehistoric evidence and paintings. Beautiful towns such as Les Eyzies, Perigueux, Le Bugue, Sarlat, Rouffignac. Dordogne River and lots of canoeing opportunities. Dinosaur parks. Many markets and restaurants. The Dordogne offers fabulous holiday opportunities.

Car Hire is available at Bergerac Airport.  Europcar - 0033 (0) 553 61 61 61.  Hertz - www.hertz.fr  .   Also Avis and Ucar rental are there, just as you come out.  All very easy to find.
