BOOKING CONDITIONS & INFORMATION - Les Anges

BOOKING

To reserve the property the Visitor must complete and sign the Booking Form and return it with the initial Booking fee of £380.00.  This includes £230.00 of the rent due and a non-refundable Booking Fee of £150.00.  (This Booking fee will later cover as your security deposit when you are staying in the property.  As long as you go ahead with your holiday it is refundable at the end of your holiday). Following receipt of the signed Booking Form and Booking fee the Owners will confirm your booking and send you a receipt.

Telephone and email reservations will be held for 7 days and officially confirmed once we have received your completed Booking Form and Booking Fee.

Once the Booking is confirmed  and you have received your receipt the Remaining Balance of Rent is due a minimum of 6 weeks prior to departure date for the Holiday.  The £150.00 Security Deposit is to be held against breakages, damages and cleaning if it should be necessary.

1. CONDITIONS OF HIRE

The contract is made between the Visitor and the Owner of the property for which the booking is made and is deemed to be made subject to these Conditions of Hire and the Booking Conditions and Information contained herein.
The acceptance of a Booking  Form from a Visitor creates a contract between themselves and the Owner of the property. Once the signed Booking Form and Booking Fee have been received the holiday booking is then firm, and the Balance of Rent will be required, even if you have to cancel your holiday. In the event of any cancellation £150.00 of the Booking Fee will be retained to cover cancellation charges (see clause 6 in these Booking Conditions).

2. PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT

The Visitor will be asked to complete and sign a Booking Form and send this with the £380.00 Booking Fee to formally secure the requested booking. ( £150.00 of the Booking fee is non-refundable on cancellation),

The Balance of Rent  is payable a minimum of 6 weeks before the start date for your holiday.  Please send this to Mrs Donna Swan, Mardon House, Pinesfield Lane, Trottiscliffe, Kent.  ME19 5EN.  No reminder will be sent for this money.  If payment is not received by the due date the Owners reserve the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. The Visitor will remain liable for the Balance of Rent unless the Owners are able to re-let the Property.

In the event of the Booking being made within eight weeks before the rental start date, the Full Payment and Security Deposit are due at the time of Booking.

Please note our prices for the property are per week. Cheques made payable in sterling to Mrs D Swan.

3. OVERCROWDING

In no circumstances is it allowed, at any time, for the number to reside in the property to exceed the number booked.  The Owners reserve the right to terminate the Contract and the Visitor will be liable for the Full Rental Payment and the whole of the Security Deposit automatically forfeited.

4. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

Visitors may take up occupation after 5.00pm on the first day and must vacate promptly by 11 am on departure day.
(Please note that early arrival or late departure may result in a deduction from your Security Deposit)

5. CARE OF PROPERTY AND DAMAGES

The Visitor agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period.  The Owners reserve the right to make a retention from the Security Deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Visitor leaves the property in an unacceptable condition. The Visitor also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those residents in neighbouring properties. 

Any damage or breakages are the responsibility of the Visitor. Please advise us of any breakages that occur before you vacate.

The £150.00 Security Deposit will be returned to the Visitor in full, as soon as administratively possible after departure,  providing that the inventory is completed and everything is in order.

 2 (a) If any items left behind after your departure are to be collected from a property and/or returned, then a £10.00 handling charge, plus postage and packaging will be deducted from your returnable Security Deposit.

6. CANCELLATION

Once the Booking Fee has been paid and accepted, Visitors are liable for all the charges of the holiday, as a binding contract has been deemed to be made between the holiday Visitor and the Owner. Any cancellation made by the Visitor (for whatever reason) shall be in writing to Mrs D Swan, Mardon House, Pinesfield Lane, Trottiscliffe, Kent.  ME19 5EN.  If you cancel your holiday at any stage £150.00 of the Booking Fee will be kept as a cancellation fee. If you have paid your Full Rental Payment, including your Security Deposit and need to cancel, we will try to rebook your slot with a new Visitor. If we succeed in gaining a replacement booking for your slot, we will refund you your Balance of Rent less £150.00 and any deductions due to other expenses or  losses incurred.  If we are unable to rebook the accommodation, you will be liable for the full amount due. (Full payment is due a minimum of six weeks prior to the start of the holiday).

We would strongly recommend Visitors arrange full travel insurance (including cancellation cover) as soon as they submit the signed Booking Form.

Under no circumstances shall the Owner's liability to the Visitor exceed the amount  of £150.00.

7. PETS

Sorry, no pets are allowed at this time.

This contract shall be governed by English Law in every particular, including formation and interpretation and shall be deemed to have been made in England.  Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this contract may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction in England.
