This beautiful calming holiday home in the Dordogne, near Perigueux is called “Les Anges”and is in the tiny rural hamlet of La Douze.

This old 1800′s farmhouse, converted in the 60′s, is south facing, so gathers the warmth from the sun each day.

Painted with natural and handmade paints, every room in the house has French windows that open onto the garden, giving it a lovely, bright and spacious feel.

There is a large sunny patio to the front offering outdoor dining and clear views of the heated pool (10m x 4.5m) situated within the private 6000sq/m garden.

There is a games room in the garden with table tennis and darts, and another dining area for up to 8 under the shade of one of the large trees in the garden.

The village square of La Douze is just a five minute walk country walk away, where you can find local shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. On Sunday there is an outdoor market offering a great selection of local produce.

“Les Anges” is within easy reach of all major Dordogne tourist attractions. The historic town of Perigueux is approximately 20 minutes drive to the north and Les Eyzies is 20 mins to the south.

Sleeps 2-6

Les Anges has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge. Bedroom One has a double bed, bedroom two has one double bed and two small single beds. Some flexibility in bedroom arrangements is available. The bathroom consists of a large walk in shower and a separate W.C. TV, video, DVD player, C.D player and radio all available.

Kitchen has dishwasher, cooker, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster and is fully equipped. Washing machine is in the games room in the garden.
